Excel Add-In: Histogram
Warning: When you download the add-in, make sure that you save it as an ".xla" file. Internet Explorer often changes the file extension to ".xls".
This add-in, Histogram.xla, generates a one or two variable (superimposed) histogram and reports summary statistics on the variable(s). It is a vast improvement over Excel's Data Analysis: Histogram tool.
Download the documentation and installation instructions file first, then right-click to download the Histogram.xla file when you are ready. The HistogramBenchMark.xls file contains several examples of histograms and demonstrates the accuracy of the add-in summary statistics.
